UPDATE from Marshall! Hi there, I’m in a foster to adopt home! So far, I’m really loving my new family! They are helping me feel comfortable, giving me lots of love and delicious food! I repay them with loud purrs, I make them biscuits when I see them, and look out… I may be snuggling soon! I wanted to send a big thank you to everyone who supported me in my journey and my friends from ARC that also need your help! If you would like to continue to help ARC help other pets like me in need, please consider donating, volunteering, or fostering!
Hi, Marshall here. I am a 3-4 year old Siamese. They tell me I’m very handsome. I was found in an abandoned house with my housemates. I was lucky to be taken in by the Animal Refuge Center in February. When I came to ARC I barely weighed 5 lbs. I wanted to eat, but my mouth was just too painful. They said I have stomatitis (a very painful inflammation of the entire mouth), and that I needed to see a veterinary specialist to extract all of my teeth.
So, these nice people here at ARC took me to the specialist in Louisville last month. I had all my teeth extracted to make me feel better and let me tell you, it worked! I feel so much better! I love eating now and I am grooming myself all the time to look spiffy. My nice caretakers weighed me and I went from 5 lbs to almost 10 lbs!
As you can imagine, having my teeth extracted by a specialist was not cheap for my wonderful peeps at ARC. If you have a bit to spare, could you help them out, so they can help others like me? Every little bit helps!
I’m ready for my furever home now! I like other cats, but I have never met a dog. Come met me at ARC and see how sweet I am. Thank you so much for helping me get ready for my happurrly ever after! Love Marshall
